Nail Fungus

A fungal nail infection may become apparent as a white/yellow spot under the nail tip of your finger or toe. The fungus penetrates deeper into nail frame, so your nails may become thick, crumbly and colorless. These infections develop easy in damp and warm environments (sweaty footwear, shower floors, etc.). Do not mix up nail fungus with athlete's foot. Athlete’s foot, or ringworm, affects the foot skin first. But sometimes these infections may co-exist and be caused by the same type of fungus.

At times, it is very difficult to treat nail fungus infections, and these infections may recur, actually. But there are various remedies that help to deal with the problem.
